Change desktop graphics card with laptop graphics card
HI!
I bought a new Toshiba Satellite P775-S7215 lapptop something like a month ago. It's equipped with Intel(R) HD Graphics Family (I know it's not a 3d modeling graphics card). I use Maya for modeling, but I want to improve my models, so I just downloaded Mudbox and it says that my computer has to have an Nvidia graphics card. My old desktop computer has a NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS graphics card. Can I change my desktop's graphics card with my laptop's graphics card? If I do is the desktop's graphics card good enough for 3d modeling? And if it's good enough how do I change it? Thanks, bhc |

to put a desktop computer's part in to laptops is the same as filling your deesel with gassoline. to be more clear the least problem would be that desktop part wont fit in to your laptop not to mention that conection wont match .
so better do your 3d with your desktop or just do all your stuff with your laptop. i see its not that bad. i have done 3d modeling and sculptin with worse laptop so it ok. as for mudbox requiring only nvidia - i'd say cow poop. |
