Felix--In Progress
Well, attached here is Felix, a character I'm working on for a video game I'm working with my friend. Felix is supposed to be a human/tiger hybrid, hencing the head. Well, hope he turns out nice, I'm working on him in Mudbox, getting sculpted. Made in Maya and UVs were done in roadkill. Tell me what you think.

|
he looks almost too human and not enough tiger, maybe look into some other nuances you could add in so it's not just a tiger head and tail slapped on a human body.

my thought exactly,(I dont have a good eye for that stuff.) I sorta want to redo him, adding more tiger influence. I'm also thinking about adding fur, but I'm exporting him to jmonkey, so what should I do? I was thinking planes with alpha maps. Thanks

Some initial tests with rig

More testing with Skinning
I have been playing around with AdvancedSkeleton recently, and I like it so far, beats making my rigs which take around 13 hours to do. Enjoy. Any tips i would like to hear them. -Nathan

Add some more light and some specularity (glossiness) to the model so we can see it. Go into render->environment and change the background color to something lighter and desaturated color. That way we can see your outline better (basically we cant see his ears because they are black and so is the back ground.
Other than that, keep plugging, I'm interested in seeing how this turns out.

Ok, I did the test render really quick, on my monitor its not so dark. Here is it with better lighting.
