Question Maya 2012 Hair Rigging

Hello,
I'm rigging a character and everything went fine until I got to the hair. The hair moves and rotates with the head when the head isn't bound to the skeleton. But once I bind the head to the skeleton, the hair doesn't move with the head. I tried constraining the hair to the head but it didn't work.
What can I do????

Please help, thanks, bhc.

Did you try to constrain the hair to the head joint, or the head mesh?

Another thing you could try, is to create a hair system on the head mesh, delete everything except the follicle, and parent your hair to the follicle.

I hope that helps.

Thanks, it worked!
Now I have another question. Why does the hair move when I render, and how can I fix that?
Thanks again,
bhc
