Crysis 3 - First Screenshots

Crytek have released the first gorgeous screenshots for Crysis 3, set for release in 2013.

These graphics suck. I mean, just the trees make me not want to buy this. Crysis is nice for lighting, and texturing. The physics modeling is just not that great. I liked the Crysis game a lot its just that if they want to make people something they want to buy why not try at least something anything that hasnt been in the other games.

Try making the environment dynamic at least. Make the trees more high poly or something. People with the hardware to play this want something chalenging for their PC's. This is just another Crysis Extension to something thats already been played. Why not just play some free game somewhere your getting the same thing.

There's nothing in this Crysis that is going to make people want to buy it if your not a fan of the other games, or not a sucker, or someone that doesnt even play games. I am not just here to bash EA for its lack of ideas, I am just saying come on, show us something that looks like the 3dtotal gallery at least, you have millions to work with, you're telling me with all of that money and power you can't show us anything more?

You guys havent created anything really with this, all its showing is wow you have a bow and arrow yes that is nice now what is this with the exactly same looking suit and environment, did you even do any work on the engine at all? It looks like a boring filefront indie mod.


Investors just blew a load into a robohooker thats already been wasted by its successor named pacman by Arone, the guy in the Trailer in Syeria with a cheap, hacked, and craigslist, mac pro laptop.


I am saying EA, do something inventive people dont want to buy a mod of something they already play.


I want the PC to crash on high setting for graphics, I want to max the Hardware and need to buy more to get that next level of graphics and gameplay. That's all Crysis has going for it, and you dul that down with the expansion and this game here is just that.

I can understand your opinion, but saying these graphics suck is just you trying to shock and be an extremist.

I'll wait for a trailer before judging in one way or another, but these graphics make me look forward to the game.

Yeah wouldn't dis the graphics to soon, their latest engine is still in development so it will be a while before we really see something innovative.

The only thing we can complain about is whether they actually listen to their fans and bring us content we want

if the graphics are anything like crysis 2 then that will do fine
nothing wrong with the graphics on that on me 580 on ultra

lets hope this one works online though because i bought the map packs for crysis2 and there's no servers running it at all just it just robbed me money

i played quite a few games with graphics that were not even graphics for the simple fact that the game it self proved the greater asset. perhaps this will be one of those. Although Max payne 3 looks like worth spending some time on for sure
