hii i got a question i made some 3DText in 3Dsmax animated with wave modifier and now i want to put it in unity but i cant get it to send the animation with it.
ideas anyone?

unity doesn't support mesh deformation animations afaik. I'm not 100% it supports morphs in the free one either to be honest (check this first, if it does make some targets and export that)

if it doesn't support morphs you have three options

1 . Rig it and animate the bones

2 . Write some code that deforms the mesh - which is not as hard as it sounds. I've done exactly that to make some rolling sea for a game I'm working on. I think it's fairly cheap resource wise provided you're not updating the collision mesh at every update

3 . buy the mesh deformation package that somebody wrote for unity, I can't remember the name but you'll find it by searching the unity forums

unity doesnt support vertex based animations like morph and in your case - wave modifyer.
the most reliable and fastest method is rigging and animating it and then exporting your text along with animation.
