Texturing Body Objects

Hi,

i got a Problem with texturing a Body Object.
I imported an IGS File to 3d Max Design 2012 and the whole Geometry is
visible in my Viewport and on my render.

If i assign a Material on it...some parts are not visible on render.
They semm to dissapear. I already checked my Workflow an it seems that
IGS seem to be problematic in 3ds Max...

any hints how i can textur that body object?
