I have read those comics and I instantly recognized the style (however I think I remember more colors )

This is one of my favorite styles (along with Francisco Herrera Jr's) to see Spidey portrayed in. Todd McFarlane's is up there as well.

Either way, seeing that style brought to life is very gratifying. Hopefully we see this guy animated at some point

Thanks for the comments guys. I don't have time to take this model any further at the moment. Humberto seen this model and was happy to see his work turn into a 3d model. I'm also a fan of Frank Herrera. I get a lot of inspiration from 2d artists.
