Patrick Tomasini Showreel

Hi, I'm Patrick an Italo-French 3d artist.
I started studying CG while drawing 3d mechanical pieces at secondary school.
From that moment it has been my great passion.
In this showreel you can see some of my personal projects.

cool demo reel.

I got some question...
how did you manage to animate the crane in the last scene.
It seems like the crane is really trying to grab that geometry.

Are that rigid bodys with collisions?

Second question...
In the first scene do you really cut something of the cylinder or is it an cylinder that is getting smaller?
