Iron Maiden
![]() ![]() My vision of an Iron Woman. Made in 3ds Max with the help of Mudbox, Topogun, and Photoshop. Rendered in Vray. While I usually go for a more logical approach to character modeling, I notice that Marvel superheroes are aimed more towards looks than logic. So I felt free to add some aesthetics to looks, such as the stylish ponytail. ![]() 3ds Max was used for the bulk of the modeling. But for the more difficult tasks such as the hands I used Mudbox and Topogun to make things easier. Topogun was also used for redoing certain parts such as the legs and shoulders. The following images show how the design has changed over the course of the model's creation. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Brilliant work mate. My only crit would be that the hair still doesn’t feel as though it is attached to the back of the head.

Give her more of a breast shape, it looks right now as a very effeminate male. Give her some of these and all will be forgiven.
![]() Also do you know Cyrax from Mortal Kombat the character? Maybe add hair like that, mechanical wire type looks very cool. Real hair like this would get caught on on the crevices of the metal and be ripped off not to mention during battle she would end up being bold pretty quick. Great work over all just needs some minor changes. =)

+1 with zenman, add some breast shape. Also, you should add some detail on the head, showing that the head's system should be different for a woman

Thanks guys. But I'm pretty much done with this baby girl. In a true Iron Man fashion maybe I'll make a Mark II version of this suit in the near future.
@AstroAJ: Yeah because the hair was just painted in ![]() PS: I added the wires as promised.

Gotta agree with what's been said about hair. It doesn't fit the model IMHO. Rest of the model is pretty good!

I really love this, but for me to really sell it as a female version, there are several area's that need refining/adjusting.... the chest plate needs to become a breast plate.... it doesn't have to be blatant in the boobage dept but there needs to be a feminine effect there, the hips & thighs need to be more slender and contoured again for that feminine look, and the backside probably needs to be more shapely.... look at Scarlet Johannsen's perfectly formed bottom in The Avengers film for reference. (or don;t..... just look at it for the hell of it as it's flawless).
As for the helmet I like the hair but if you made the mouth area smaller and the eyes narrower and maybe a cheek bones effect inbetween that would give a feminine look too. I understand your done with this version and maybe a version 2 in the future could utilize all our comments. As for modelling, texturing & lighting they are awesome and very very well done! A really cool concept.
