Yeah just caught a little bit of depression at the moment being stuck at home, foot ulcer... house slowly getting messier and messier, dad in hospital etc. Just bringing me down a bit... might help to model something like the bus interiors to keep my mind off things.

I always find that modelling something helps a lot when I'm feeling down. As long as your mind is completely concentrating on the model, you'll forget everything else for a while.

Seems like ages since I last updated this page with something, so here's a little thing I did today.

It's a carryable mini Marshall Amp for my Electric Guitar it's battery operated and just a bit bigger than a pop can but smaller than say a 500ml pop bottle, just thrown a few shaders/textures on it to make it look pretty.

Yeah they are AI's, I get the logo from google in as higher res as I can, then re-draw the logo in Illustrator then import into C4D and extrude..... sometimes I make the extrusion editable to polys and then clean the results mesh(es) up to get the cleanest all quads if possible model(s).

I know it's a long way to do things but I like that it's all mine, so everything you see it created from scratch.... modelling wise at least, i'm no so fussy about shaders/textures.

There is a scene I've wanted to build for a while, but I've not found enough references to build upon yet...... I might make a start..... it's finding time though that's the trouble.
