Just make the inset further in and more broad, the dip you are thinking of comes where the clavicle meets the front of the shoulder as it lurches forward. That way the muscle from the shoulder to the outside of the pec doesn't bend abnormally.
Looks awesome!

Nope, the Skyrim mod is dropped.
School goes well, I have a ****load of work, sitting at a lesson right now. Struggling to get all essays done in time currently, being the run-up for graduation in three weeks and everything ![]()

Thanks man!
Yeah the noise on the head is where I'll put the hair, might want to make it a bit more regular, true. Otherwise I actually made the detail quite deep so that IF I choose to texture or render it then I won't loose it all ![]() I'll get working on those ears ![]()

Thanks mate!
Updated some of the detailing, re-made the ears, fiddled with the skull, worked a tiny bit on the body and added some new render settings (which I want to learn more about, any tips and tricks anyone?)... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

wow, this last sculpt looks great. any plans for texturing it? imo This would look fantastic as an 'after-fight' mugshot, like a black eye, and cauliflower ears.

YearoftheOx - Thanks man, glad you like it! No plans right now, but who knows, I might actually try it out just to see how it turns out
. Hahahaha, well that is an interesting thought, I could try that, good inspiration!

Fantastic details and sculpting. He almost looks like a UFC fighter, Cain Valascez.
Good job. How did you do the variety of skin details? Did you use masks and different noise maps to achieve the pores and skin bumps? Sean |

Sean_Rodrigues - Hey, thanks man! Yeah, in some ways I guess he does, at least from the front
http://www.themmadigest.com/wp-conte...uez_tattoo.jpgWell I use a combination of alphas on the clay brush or skin brush, in combination with some pre-set skin brushes that you can download for free online and finally some work with the slash brush to bring about some custom detail (like on the eyes, lips and ears) . Almost no masks are used in the detailing process, but I guess you could do it that way as well. General tip is to build a good alpha library, it helps a LOT with detailing ![]()

Found something very cool at an art exhibition a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps I should do something similar, what do you think?

Yes, that looks great. You should experiment with the look. Just a suggestion, look at some Easter island tattoos, or some head hunter tattoos for the relief extrusions.
