I started running a mile a day last October, got about two weeks in, and then got stress fractures in both tibiae. I gave them a month to get better, then went to play basketball, damaged them again. Gave them another month, played flag football (american) every Saturday for a few months, they were okay. Then, I hurt my (already) bad ankle after a touchdown. Finished the game, but was then sidelined for another 2-3 weeks. Then, the season was over. Now the only sport going on is softball, which I don't play, as I insist that it's a girl sport.
My next step is to take Tae Kwon Do while waiting for basketball and football to start again.
