Maya 2012 animating pillow lava...
Hi all - a first post for me, so my formal hello, as well
![]() I'm trying to work out how to animate 'pillow lava'. I have two questions, really http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsJn8izcKtg ~1:16 <- pillow lava I had assumed that I could animate this stuff by keyframing extrusions. Effectively starting with a cube, and extrude-keyframe-extrude etc to create the lava. It seems that's not possible in Maya. My two questions are: 1. Is there any way to keyframe-animate extrusions? 2. If not, can anyone suggest a good way to animate this stuff? I know Maya well but I don't know its animation tools all that well, I just need a nudge in the right direction to start working it out. Cheers. |
