I always have problems when i shade to het from 2 to 3 its hard to smooth it out without loosing hard edges And not get blurry results

well - your right! the most an important part is to keep practicing! try to do some studies from the old and new masters as well. Alos a good way to find some useful hints, are the fee tuts here on 3D total and some other communities. I guess it helps a lot to see how other artist work and what kind of technique they are using. But for that - ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND NOT TO "COPY AND PASTE" WHAT YOU HAVE / WILL SEE! Just take the parts of highest interest out and mixed it with our own flavor!
For the last three creatures I just one brush and the burn/dodge tool. Hope that helps ![]() Take care! |

hi.
thanks for breakdowns. it was realy interesting to see how simple sketches become nice rendered concepts . as for concepts them selves - i realy like the last two dudes. they are awesome - they have character and allready have their copys in my inspiration and reference folder . would be nice to try sculpt at least one of them but sorry - no time this month - have 6 projects to finish . |
