Iron Spider(spiderman) Concept
here is the current progress i have made to make an iron spider suit. while looking for reference for another project i came across images of the iron spider. I liked the concept of Tony stark designing a suit for spider man for the avengers comic but didn't really think it looked like anything more then a shinny spandex suit. So now that i have had some free time iv being designing my own. I'm trying to find a balance between something that still reads as spiderman but has armor similar to the current ironman movie armor designs. The helmet is just a stand in for the time being until i find a design that works better. Still need to add the three mecanical legs to his back and build the armor for the back, feet, butt, lower back and detail the back elements. I'm posting mainly for creative feedback and any comments that will help me improve the design. I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say.

but i think the mask should look more like the head of a spider and less of a bikes helmet

That looks awesome, and it kind of goes along with the comics right now. He used a new suit in the last few issues. Looks great!

love it. looks realy great and original. only thing that bugs me is his eyes. dont know why but for my taste they need some more dificoult shape and to be more angular cause the whole suit is angular.
