A nice challenge and some great entries. On my list of things to model is/was Beer and felt that this was perfect to cross that one off. I chose James Boag's because it was the only Beer I had in the house which I could scan the labels. My biggest challenge here was texturing and perfecting the look I aimed to achieve.

That is amazing and not a bad beer either.

@ClassicGamer-3DT - thanks for your kind words.
@filbones - James Boag's is a great tasting beer with a nice smooth texture. Regarding the labels... yes this is a .PNG wrapped around. I originally used a Blend material (same as the beer glass logo) however it created issues with the bump maps I already had on the glass so I simply separated the labels as their own geometry... in the end it gives the same results :P |
