The Characters of my new animation- A story of the end of the world

Greetings everyone! I'am now starting with my new animation and I have the characters settled. Here are the very first version of my characters. Any comments are welcome here. I am only a student now and there must be some problems with my work. If you find some problems or have a better idea, please reply me! Thank you for your visit!

Something about my new animation:

Title:
You are (Not) Alone (provisional)

Plot:
After the "Apocalypse" in 2050, the world is gone and all creatures on Earth, humans, animals, plants, and even virus are vaporized. However, in the ruins of Beijing, China, a girl named Ji Mo survives from the "Apocalypse". She lives with her friends: one is a sports car called "Barchiel", the other is a teddy bear named "Chuang-tzu". This animation tells a story about one of her days -her only mission is to survive...

Characters:
Ji Mo: A Chinese girl living in Beijing, survives from the "Apocalypse". She is (or maybe) the last human on Earth. In order to survive in this deserted city,she has to search for suplies and fight with the endless loneliness and helplessness.

Chuang-tzu: A teddy bear. It is Ji Mo's favourite toy and her good friend.

Barchiel: A sports car (it is a concept car designed by my self:Lamborghini Concept: Angel) Ji Mo drives it to travel through the Beijing city and, of course, it is Ji's good friend.

Background:
In the year of 2038, humans find a new planet which is suitable for humans to live on. Then, humans try their best to move to that planet and they forget all about Earth. They exhaust the Earth's resources to build spaceships and the environment is totally ruined. Then in 2050, humans meet their punishment - the "Apocalypse"...This time, humans are exterminated by their endless greed, desire and ambition...

Sounds interesting and the models look good, one thing that strikes me as odd though is that everything looks surprisingly clean for a post-apocalyptic setting.

Also this is just personal preference but I really do not think that children should wear high-heels or any type of clothing that makes them look more like adults. As I said it is just personal preference but I find that very distasteful.

This is the very begining of this project and these pictures are only rendering-tests. I haven't added some dust to the textures... so it looks abnormally clean and tidy...But I will make some changes in the following process.

My story is quite different from "ordinary apocalypse". I won't emphasize the terrible scene of the post-apocalyptic world (because there are already too many such stories!)but pay more attention to the humanity. This is a "test yard of humanity". Think about you are the last one on Earth, everything is yours but you ,indeed, have nothing. You can do whatever you like but indeed, you can do nothing. That is quite interesting and introspective.

My work is just began and there is too much to do.Thank you for your visit!

Yes, the hair looks too simple. i am going to work on it.

However, the detailed hair is harder for animation, maybe not for me, but for my PC...

This is a new picture including the scene:In 2058,Beijing encounters a storm like 46 years ago, but Ji Mo and her team is able to survive this due to their nice teamwork.

i am eager to follow more of your post..from what you mentioned as "teamwork", does Chuang-tzu has a life of its own?

Both the bear and the car have simple AI, that is to say,they can follow their owner... but they can not talk or think "deeper".
