Hhhhmmmm never been a fan of the franchise myself, it always annoyed me with quicktime events for turn based fights etc. They used to be the game that set the benchmark for other games in terms of visuals..... and don't get me wrong this looks pretty but when I compare the latest visuals of Watchdogs or Assassin's Creed III it makes this game look like something from the 90's.

It seems they are desperately trying to get a new generation interested in playing the FF games..... but for me personally they should have killed this franchise after the animated feature film.

Yeah I agree it does look a little dated and unoriginal.

Square Enix can still put out amazing trailers... but this isn't one of them. It was probably done by their CG "B" team since this title isn't likely to sell like crazy.

Sounds about right. The last good Final Fantasy game imo was 9, which made up for mediocre 8. After 9? Not so great. 13 was terrible. For me, the best were: 1,4,6,7, & 9. Final Fantasy 7 aside, they lost me when they went all sci-fi instead of medieval fantasy. If I wanted to play Phantasy Star then I'd play Phantasy Star. Whatever.

This trailer is... okay. Not great. Certainly not spectacular. The voice over is awful though, as if an intern recorded it. I'll wait for the reviews. Not an automatic purchase this time.

worst narrator ever. i liked the games and advent children is one of the best cg movies to date, but i dont like online games
