Volume light render can do wonders. So can a Zdepth render and some simple masking based on the Zdepth and hue saturation tweeks in Photoshop.

Hey paulius, my man!
![]() how things running on your end? Hope all is well. Lovin' the actual look. The lil' animals are a nice touch. Not sure about the leaves on the floor - for my they seem a tad to big (just my humble one). But I really like it so far… and if you want to go the Disney route… add a bear between the two little trees (middle) - with a bit of toilet paper on his back ![]() Jus kidding… waiting for the next step Take care |

hey malo
. nice to see you here . at my end its all going well: work work family work univercitie work.... and sometimes when everyone is a sleep some personal proect get love . how you're doing? havent checked your thread in a while. does it have enough stuff for me to enjoy for half an hour??? as for my outhouse arch viz i allready fixes these leafs - thanks . as for the bear - hmmm, i like the idea . was thinking about a zubrus or moose in the furthest corner but now..... things can change if render times will be reasonable ![]() as for now - not much to show that would make the difference but working on smaller details such as tree bark, animal refinment and some smaller subtile props to give more autumn fealing to it so here is one of props |

so this project is allmost complete and after it'll be rendered and composited i am starting a tutorial series of making a high rez character Kerrigan from starcraft. this character will be for a VS chalange against a friend and a forum member "Jeebs".
so if there are some specific techniques or parts of character creation that are issue and probematic and if you would like to know - write it here andi will cover it. techniques that will be covered are: modeling a base mesh from references, sculpting, using concept sculpt to get the armor, retopo, uvw, texturing, shading, settingup a scene ,lighting, rendering, fast compositing. i allso add a main concept i foundon the net. dont realy know whoo painted it but it looks great. |

thanks guys.
McFly - if you're not the "character" guy than no one will make you want to do one. same is with me and cars - i love them beauty renders in the galerie but i hate modeling them. so spent another few hours on heads base mesh. some proportions are off and there are some pinching but for base mesh i didnt realy care about it. |
