3D Studio Max : Quadify Mesh Modifier

Hi,

I appear to be having some issues with the Quadify Mesh Modifier in 3D studio max. I have a model and have specified certain sections of the model to be a specific material ID.

When I do this and apply the textures from the material editor it works fine, however as soon as I add the Quadify Mesh Modifier. All the faces lose the textures and the model becomes on texture. Despite the fact that the faces still have the correct ID's.

Any advice that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

The face numbering will have changed because the number of faces will have changed. what makes you think they all have the same ID?

Hi thanks for your response, I feel like such a clown. I used the Edit Mesh modifier after the quadify mesh modifier and see that they had actually changed.

Before I was just checking the original model and checking the faces. When I'm near the Cambridge area, I owe you a drink good sir. (From the welsh lands!)

Thanks again
