3D Studio Max : Quadify Mesh Modifier
Hi,
I appear to be having some issues with the Quadify Mesh Modifier in 3D studio max. I have a model and have specified certain sections of the model to be a specific material ID. When I do this and apply the textures from the material editor it works fine, however as soon as I add the Quadify Mesh Modifier. All the faces lose the textures and the model becomes on texture. Despite the fact that the faces still have the correct ID's. ![]() Any advice that you can give would be greatly appreciated. |

The face numbering will have changed because the number of faces will have changed. what makes you think they all have the same ID?

Hi thanks for your response, I feel like such a clown. I used the Edit Mesh modifier after the quadify mesh modifier and see that they had actually changed.
Before I was just checking the original model and checking the faces. When I'm near the Cambridge area, I owe you a drink good sir. (From the welsh lands!) Thanks again |
