Great work!
I have a few issues with the character design, but from a technical standpoint this is a rock-solid model. I especially love your topology. Super clean, optimized, and efficient. I'm loving every minute of it. EDIT: Ignore my comment about the character design. You actually stayed pretty true to your source material. Its just that Bethesda is notorious for their less-than-stellar characters. |

Thanks Guys!
Buzzy - I appreciate the extra specific compliment. I checked out your portfolio and your work is awesome! I'm trying to build a network of people in the field who I can send my stuff to directly for more feedback in an effort to continue improving my skills. Would you mind if message you in the future for feedback? CryingHorn - Would you mind if I message you as well? Last edited by angry_monkey; 10-06-2012 at 09:23 PM.. Really nice job dude.
I actually think this looks better than the original model. More threatening and less awkward, also with a hint of intelligence. And for 1k texture and under 2,5k tris, it's top notch!

Killer ferret WIP
This is something new I am working on. Some games that I play I have been using the name Killer Ferret so I figured it is appropriate to create an avatar. There are still a lot of things I plan on giving to him such as a combat vest, a cigar and some weapons. I am going for a cute but deadly approach. This little guy was sculpted in 3D coat.
Here is an early screen cap. C & C are welcome! |
