well I like it

I'd like to see a bit more variation in your shading - everything's kind of "shiny phong with reflections" but the cahracter designs are awesome and you've got a really playful style.

I'd love to see some of it done lo-fi realtime style

Thanks indeed, do you mean lo-poly as lo-fi?
Perhaps I should give it a try, but it seems as though
many folks that are acquiring positions are usually pretty
high poly. ( I am probably medium poly)

About the gloss, perhaps I will try to make an invention model
instead that is less specular.

I was going to do a sun dude, but I am not sure that would help.

I mean sort of iphone spec. just diffuse and maybe 2.5k triangles. I just like stuff like that, it wasn't really a crit - that said, theres a real consoley/nintendo vibe there so a bit of wii res work wouldn't hurt you at all..

with the shaders i just think a few of your models could do with a bit more material variation. the shiny thing as a style is great and once you've seen a few of your pieces its obvious you've done everything deliberately but you'd be showing a bit more of your technical ability if you varied your surfaces a bit.

But yeah, i really like your stuff and im being picky
