i love ths bees eyes - htey are so kind and warm
.as for the toon it self - hows about making it in to a app for smartphones where children could manipulate the bee to do educational stuff. todays marcet is realy big in apps , and in my countrie few students created a game where you can teach kids to wipe their bottom after taking a sh$$ or wahs their hands, or clean thei teeth.... , and this game is a sucsses in app stores. just my two cents ![]() |

OMFG! I loved Poddington Peas, I never missed this as a kid it used to be on at lunchtimes along with Portland Bill, Bertha or Fireman Sam, Poddington Peas has a very special place in my heart I adored it! It still f'ing love that theme tune! Seriously this is my childhood favourite.
I really love your character's style and I think your textures/shading needs work to really sell it, have you considered using hair/fur? I know it's a bugger to get right and would most likely ramp up render times but would look even cooler as a character.

lol yeah thanks man i was hoping someone would remember it
glad you enjoyed it lol as for hair/fur yeah i think he will look alot better with very short fur. ive downloaded the demo of hairfarm so im gonna play with that some more. it take's a lifetime to render and keeps crashing so im just trying to get some good settings that render fast |

Your project is looking quite fun keep it up : ), about the skining test, try to preview it without the bones so we can really see the deformation, aswell if you can try to do some more exterm poses, as everything is very linear, like the arm only move on the X axis try to make a rotation with the Z axis too, I know its just a test but trying more extrem poses will help later on, good job.

Didn't realise the poddington peas was going 3D, just checked out the website, did you have a hand in the character modelling, the early stages are looking brilliant.
