Chevrolet Camaro
This car render was produced in Maya with Vray and HDR Light Studio.
It was the first time I used an external lighting solution. The model was sponsored, so only the shading texturing and lighting was done. The Final render took almost 40 Minutes on a 2600k Cpu. ![]() High Resolution |

Very nice, is there alot of post production on this.... it's just that it looks almost painted like it was created in Photoshop or Illustrator.... it's got a nice look either way

Hey John, thanks
I just added some lights, Highlights and stuff like that in PS. The rest was set up in maya. So I am not sure why it looks so "painted", but I know what you mean. It is possible that the soft light reflections make it too smooth..because most studio shots have sharper reflections etc. But thanks! I really appreciate it. |

Yeah i think it must be the shadows, there's nothing wrong with the render though, not really i'm not saying it for that reason, i reckon the floor underneath lacks definition or depth as there should be something of considerable weight resting on that floor and the shadow looks too pale or muted...... i think that's the only thing. Wonderful render though.

I think more defined reflections would help here, but a great render anyway.
