fuuh...hard month at school..But its successfully done, so im back!!
Here is something im working on now...spent some time on it already, but came into a stage, when im getting crazy (again) its almost lowpoly, but my computer cant render it with textures...its so hard to stay motivated when i must count every single polygon![]() C&C are welcome guys! ![]() ![]() Here im working on some details in the back ![]() Trying some normal maps...I havent done many normal maps before, so ive learnt something new ( there are many artifacts, mainly on the main body of the ship, but it is not a big deal to solve i think)![]() Are there any ways to reduce memory use? Let me know them pls, i would be thankful to hear some I ve tryed to import meshes to new project but didnt help...Maybe export them as Obj and import again? |

dont know the software or renderer you are using but in v-ray and mental ray there are proxies that let you use a low poly proxie of your high poly model and program uses the high poly model only when rendering.

Im using 3Ds max (mental ray)... The problem is, im using low poly for rendering ..i think the problem are the textures..and it will be even worse when i will add some lights i think
...i will have to cheat. But thanks for advice, i didnt know much about proxies..i will surely try to take an advantage of them..thx![]() |

Material on the planks by the pool look unfinished (kinda flat) but lighting is great!
I'd tone down reflections on floor tiles and better integrate the house with the bg (see white areas near the roof sides).
