Exclamation Maya crash
I am using maya 2011. Evrything works fine.
Bt as soon as i load a .tif texture it crashes .
Other format do work, but i have already baked all of my maps in this format, nd they r just 2k .
Even if i do use other format, i wanna know why this isnt working.
I have my tiffFloatRender plugin turned on, bt still it doesnt work.
any suggestions guys?

use .png, .exr, .tga, .psd, .jpg and there are more formats, cause tiff is realy heavy on you system. it tends to crash max too

I use tiffs all the time with Maya 2011/2012 and have never had a crash, could be a hardware issue that's causing your machine to crash or maybe a faulty install of Maya.
