Max - Combining polygons
This is my first try at 3d modeling so please forgive my ignorance
This is the maze i have been working on for a game but i ran into some problems and i need to either join all the walls so that each wall is a single polygon instead of all those stretched rectangles. Is that possible? If not: i can also try cutting the walls so that they are composed of smaller squares... but i dont know how to do that either. any help would be appreciated ![]() |

select edges you dont need and ctrl+backspace, or it would be faster to just remodel it all. create a plane and using snap shepe this plane to the maze. and in the end just giove it shell modifyer and dont forget to check the straighten edges option in the bottom of menu. it should take you about 10-20 minutes to do it all.

here is a screen grab where it all is. and when you turn snap on rightclick on it and select vertex snap.
