Not sure yet, depends on the amount of geometry my system can handle.
Some shaded screengrabs of updates. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Add some more details today, it's quite heavy poly's at the moment around 170,000 which is about 147 objects all together... not too bad but my system will start to struggle when I add more details and possible an interior..... we'll see. Fairly happy with the progress so far.... just modelling for fun not accuracy.

Looking great but I think you could save a lot of polys by simply texturing (as in using normal maps) headlights rather than modelling them.

Yeah you're absolutely right McFly I could and may change my mind & texture those details instead but i'm a sucker for detailing I love it.
Most of the time I have to sacrifice alot of modelled details due to memory etc, i'm not sure yet... i do know that i'm not totally happy with the headlights as they are so will probably change them. needse cheers matey.

Running out of memory? My 2 pennies: you could start by using a Replace or Swap modifier *can't remember its name* so once detailed, you replace headlights by a low poly sphere (placeholder) which gets replaced by its hipoly counterpart when rendering.

Finally found some free time today (finished my client work) I worked on the tires for the bus and some basic modelling here with eggs.

tires look lovely, i personally love doing them and hate em. Love because they always look great due to geometry threads etc, but hate because with turbosmooth and all the supporting edges i have somewhat jagged front end.
In your case this is not true, lovely look. Are you going to age the rest of the bus, cause the wheels do look aged. |

I think so, but then I may have to UV map the bus which I hate doing.... if I can get away with shaders or projected textures I will lol

The tires look really great. I see we have common enemy: UVs
, but one has to beat with it. Good luck |

Rims look aged alright, well done, but tires need some wear and tear cos they look too clean. I know, easier to say then done but hey! No pain, no wine. Ya know.

Will try clean alloys too
I know it's a cop out but the nearly brand new look is easier than aged lol.

Think i'm definately preferring the cleaner alloy look to the grimy/rusted ones
