rocneasta - Stylized Challenge #03 - Circular saw method
Just finished a project, and wanna join in the fun. Trouble is organic modeling was never the best skill, but one can try and try again.
The scene I'm recreating in hopes they recreate it later on is a scene from "Welcome to Colinwood" - the circular saw method YOU TUBE LINK - 6:00min |

spent an hour in browsing pixar and disney character art work on the web. I must admit i'm more prone to Pixar than Disney, but i can't quite grasp the "what makes a character Pixar like"
Anyone have any ideas, reference, comparisons etc? Really appreciated |

well been struck down with both kids ill from a virus that's going on, fever coughing etc, so in the mists of taking care of them and the missus, working at the same time and joining in ill ranks myself i said to myself:
Journey begins with the first step; ergo i made the smallest prop for my scene that i need. And that being an old fashioned clothes peg. Didn't do the standard clay render - not that this one is all that better, but scanline, and a lot faster... |

Hope you and kids get well soon (or better if you are out of the worst part).
Nice starters. I hope you know what you are doing - a line with those clothes pins would be enough for my computer to go facepalm . Your render time will skyrocket with this level of detail. |

speaking of level of detail, each of models has a leve 2 turbosmooth on them, that i can easily set to 1 or 0 - depending on how far they are from the camera |
