Rescaling entire scene in Maya

I have constructed a scene in maya according to blueprints, though i now noticed the blueprints were not scaled accurately to real world sizes.

Is it possible to rescale/resize an entire scene without walking into problems like nurbs based objects collapsing and distorting? (and still maintaining history)

I remember that in 3dsmax there was a tool where you could measure a part of the scene and then specify the proper dimensions, and then it would change the whole scene to match the scale requirements.

Though i havent found a similar thing in maya yet.

as McKronic said, I'd select everything, go edit>group, then try scaling the whole selection.
good luck!
