looks nice. respect for the amount of work you put in to this one.
as for image - i'd say its too dark and "grey". i would advice to place some lights at least around the main character and play with light colours. and these stairs at the right looks weird. adn place som elights or streangthen egzisting ones cause now i see lots of lights that dont affect anything and this gives your image flat dull look. i know that all the lights will make your render times higher, but this scene is worth it. ceep it up and good luck ![]() |

well the picture is relatively OK, it has that cyberpunk vibe to it, it's got a neat dystopian atmosphere (with the fog and bleak buildings).
problem with this scene is that the lighting is too flat at places. i like the far end of the scene where the fog takes control of the city. the scene, although it has a high ammount of detail, it lacks detail in the front part. the pose of the female is a tad weird, she doesn't keep her hands on the handlebars. unless that is intentional judging from the title of the scene. there are objects in your scene that seem to be floating due to the poor lighting, for example the "lee fa yuen" sign. i like the motion blur of the cars, but it could be alot more enhanced, assuming the camera is centered on the motorcycle chick. street looks sort of empty on the right side. add more neon/street lights. it will add more contrast to your scene, it will make your scene look more alive. use "images.google.com" it is your best friend ![]() i think the ground texture doesn't quite fit too much. use asphalt. lastly, post-process your image. in this type of sci-fi render, high contrasting colors from neon lights in comparison to the bleak, grey buildings will make your scene more awesome. make parts of your scene very dark, try to make a few dark alleys here and there, it will make your city more creepy. here is an example to see what i'm talking about ![]() i hope my reply helped! good luck!

Thanks guys, I agree that the lighting is the main problem here, and more lights would greatly increase the render time, but I might just decide to re render for this image,.. though the main reason it's so grey is because the animation itself isn't very colorful. As for the character's pose... (not so well executed) she's actually not moving, her other leg's on the ground and she's staring down the streets sort of taking in the moment,... it will make more sense once you actually see the animation. Thnx again guys.
Here's a clay & wire render. ![]()
