John Martini has created a free tool, Cobwebs, for 3ds Max, that makes suspending cables, cobwebs, wire bundles, etc.

I literally just sat here gaping like an idiot for a good minute, even though I can't use it

This script is really fantastic! Sad I cant use it my beloved Max 9 or Max 2009

Yeah, I feel like there's no love towards the good ole' 2009 version anymore, almost no plugins are being maintained for the older versions and no new scripts work for them
