聲gel ca獮o

Hi all!

This is my first attempt to sculpt a model that's not the classic T-pose character, but something a little more challenging.
I've seen a picture of a statue in Madrid called "聲gel ca獮o" by Ricardo Bellver, and I instantly loved it!
This is my model now, and there is still much work to do on it
sw: Zbrush

C&c always welcome

Looking good man!

You should add a thumbnail to your thread by attaching a small picture using the forum tools (under advanced) on the first post.

You should keep working on defining the forms in my opinion to really push the vivid pose you've got going and get the sculpt as a whole to a new level

Thanks for your feedback! the body is still very raw, still dynamesh, the next step will be to increase detail and improve significantly the shape of snakes.
Thumb added

Here again,

going slowly, but I still go on...
Better defined muscles of torso, legs and feets, hands and face expression tweaked...not yet tweaked wings and sneaks

This is what I think you could get corrected. Take it as an opinion though, I am no expert.

The coracobrachiallis is a muscle that is very likely to show up in poses like this, it is a very subtle detail but it adds a lot of realism and context for the bicep as well. And always remember, in case you have the bicep from a perfectly front POV, you would usually see the tricep "envolving" it, it's a pretty big muscle.

Oh and I also lowered a big the lower end of the pelvis, and the height of nipples. I think that fixes a bit, just a bit the overall proportion. Plus the abs wall, as it is compressing in his right side, it should push a bit more some of the muscles in it a bit forward.

Sorry if it's a little "drafty", I did it quickly at launch time. Of course this is my humble view of the piece. I hope it helps! cheers man.

You're absolutely right! from my photos of the statue I don't understand how much stronger are sculpted these muscles, I see a lot of shadows and references are not all at a big resolution, however I'll make corrections and I'll post an update soon.
Thank you Likuid!

PS. I'm a girl

Oops, my bad. Don't know why I assumed otherwise.
I'll wait for updates and help if I can.
