Zbrush to 3DS Max - Polypaint and Materials
Hi All,
I'm a complete amaetuer when it comes to Zbrush, but I have started on a new project to learn some of the Zbrush techniques. I have a question regarding exporting sculpted models that contain painted colours and matierals from Zbrush to then render in 3DS max, which is a package I am much more familiar with. Is it a simple matter of straight exporting to OBJ then importing into MAX will the model retain the material information? Is this even possible? Any advice or information on the workflow people use when moving from Zbrush to MAX would be great. Thanks, Nuttbusta. |

usually you would extract a texture map from the polypaint. Look under "Texture" and click "from polypaint", it should then extract a texture.
make sure u have good uv on your model first tho, and u can change the size of the texture map under the tab "uv" |
