[Boat] Staverse Jol

I've been working a while on a new project : modeling our boat (a staverse jol, for a reference picture, click the following link )

The goal is to model it as closely correct / detailed as possible.
I will give you some links to my WIP images, they go chronologic, so the first ones won't have much detail and the last ones are the most recent :

Picture 1
Picture 2
Picture 3
Picture 4
Picture 5
Picture 6
Picture 7

If the pictures don't work, please have a look at my website

I hope that you guys can give me some usefull comments

I work in 3dsmax by the way...

Wow, awesome.
My only crit, is that you can see the edges of polygons in some pictures. If you texture it, I dont think you will be able to notice it, so keep up the good work!

After a long time, another update. Still adding details...
The mesh is allmost done. After that, I can start to texture it, although I fear that a little, because I'm not really good when it comes to unwrapping and texturing.....

After a long pause, I've picked up this project again and started texturing
The model is 100% finished now, and the texturing is all that's left now.

Today I did the rosters in the 'kuip' (don't know the English word), the place where you stand usually.

Whoa just had another look here and saw, that yiu started the texturing, looks great really. Can't wait to see this finished. Hope you will keep posting updates, although there are not very many replies. Thats the deal when you are modelling boats instead of cars .

Thanks for your reply Qubical

Here's another update.
I've been working on the textures of the doors. 15 UVW modifiers in total for only the door and the window and more to come.
The falloff for the reflection needs to be adjusted a little, (I think it's a little too reflective now) but that will come when the stage of 'tweaking' the materials has come.

C&C would really be appreciated.

Looking really nice. But I have one question, where did you get these amazingly good quality wood textures? I have only one really high res wood texture, but I need tons more once I start texturing the boat.
