Max Vs Maya ... Poser?

Hi folks long time no see huh
I want to know ur opinions on this.
I do some work in poser and want to get it to either maya or max. I have both. Main reason for this is better rendering and more flexibility. I am also looking forward to do some major 2d renders which will include like tattoos and texture designs in 2d mode. Which out of 2 (Maya and Max) is better and why? Stating pros and cons would with ur final conclusion REALLY help, plz help.
