Yoda
This is my second attempt at modelling an organic head, first try ever using polygons to do it. THis is about four hours worth of work here and I know there is a lot more detail but I just want to make sure I got the basic shape down and that I'm headed in the right direction with it. Sorry that you got to link to see the pic but I couldn't figure out how to paste it. Take care.

yeah looks good, but it's kind of hard to get a feel for it w/o the ears.

Yeah, I haven't thought of how I' m gonna approach the ears yet so that's why there not on as of right now but I totally understand what you mean. I've been working on him so more and here's an updated version. I appreciate you guy's feed back, thanks!

for some reason it reminded me of the Grinch
it would look really cool with a huge toothy evil grin But it shouldn't be too hard to make it more yoda like, keep going with it |

LOL! YEah, I think it's the color map, no textures and that he has no ears also makes him look like the Grinch. Right on, looks like the force is strong with Dr. Seues. I'll keep that in my mind now, thanks!

Looking good so far, can't wait for more updates. |

Alright, your guy's comments are great, thanks for all of them! Here's another quick update, the jedi master now got ears, some eyes and is not as shiny, I think the shiy phong material was a little too hard on a person eyes for just a WIP model. I feel that he needs more detail though.

Realy nice Model
I'd suggest to stretch his forehead and make the shape more round if you want to go with the original yoda look ![]() |

YEah, I know exactly what you mean, the forhead and bridge of the nose have been giving me one hell of a headache, but right now I think I'm getting somewhere, I'll post another pic later though. THanks!

Yoda rules, as does your interpretation of him. The mesh is strong with this one.
