The best way (free that is) is to submit your site to search engines, alternatively you can download some software that does it for you but usually costs you a bit.
Of course you can always post a link to your site on forums so that people will visit and prehaps word of mouth will do the trick. Cheers Shaun

Best free way to do it is dmoz Open Directory Project.
Which is used by almost all the major search engines, AOL Search, DirectHit, HotBot, Google, Lycos, Netscape Search, etc.. http://dmoz.org/add.html for more info |
