Freeze with texture?

i want to freeze my concepts images in the view.. But when i freeze does the planes turn out to Greay..

How can i freeze with texture?

You can't, if you freeze it you lose interactively with it.. thats just how it works.

you can

right click the object, and choose properties, and uncheck 'show frozen in gray'. Assuming that you're using max
