Looks good . I think you should add diferent smooth groups to achieve a better look.

What's the polycount?

hehe

your style of modeling cars is very consistant.........thats a good thing

anyway, again.....i love it.....I prefer your previous one.....but I hope you don't take it in a bad way because this one is still very well done.

If there's anything to say.....I would have to say work with smooth groups. The extra polys that you are putting in is a good idea, but they are not shown because you're smoothing groups are all at 1. To get a definitive shape, blend them and make some hard edges.....it looks really nice on cars......especially low poly ones. Oh....and one more thing......how do you get in the car without any handles??

Well......you got 2 cars done.....anymore?? Love to see some more of your work

lol done.. haha funny

not even close to being done. lots of work to do on the skyline, and im still playign with the interior on the crx. I also like the crx better (i own one)

im gunna add some polies to the skyline and make the body more round and then ill play with the smoothing groups. I usually model with no smoothing (facets) but for this one i didnt. *shrug*

uhmm more of my work... hmm gimme a second. i have a collab of a few models that i sent to ea for critique from a guy who graded from my school. one was a lotus, but it was originally high poly and i optimized it (it looked like shat) and then there was the crx, and a motor bike (cbr6rr) and a mclaren lm

ill post links to the pics if i must :P

the great thing about this is i cant ftp into my website from home to find out where those files are located. ill try a diff way in a bit tho

WOW, you know someone at ea.......how fortunate!!

I was hoping you'd say it isn't finished Don't you ever mix smoothing groups instead of going facets/smooth??

Id love to see some other of your previous models.......I hate optimizing high poly meshes into low......its a killer.....did you use the modifier to reduce polys or did u do it by hand??

it kind of confused me when i start a model i turn off smoothing (select all polys and remove smoothing grou) and then when i finish it i do the smoothing groups

mclaren (done in 3 hours)
lotus, i hate this model so much
earlier version of the crx
cbr 6rr

Smooth Groups determine weather your poly is going to be a hard edge or a soft edge in rendering(just a visual display). There are groups so that the smoothing can be a transition or completely smooth or not smooth at all.
