One thing, apply a Mesh Smooth with no iterations, and see how that render looks

Meshmooth? why add a modifier when there is no need, pus MS wouldn't really make it look that good since it would equally smooth it out making the hard edges that want to be seen, not visible.. Perhaps you are waiting to sort out the smoothing groups later.

You are doing great so far, the model is very clean. Keep it that way and it will look great when finished. What polycount and perhaps game do u have in mind?

i do all my smoothing later.

thanks for the feedback

im going to ps2 console based, so my tri counts will be 2500 for body, 500 for interior and 500 for each wheel.

Really neat. Can't wait to see it niceley textured with decals ! Are yout hinking a game like the Gran Turismo series then perhaps? . Anyway good job.

the poly counts i quoted are actually nfs. but yea, im just makign these for practice and porfolio work.

i also have my crx kicking around here somewhere
