thats a pretty nice design, but you should definately learn more about anatomy, muscles and proportions...

ryvick, try creating a bump map using your original texture as a template. then your scales will look more natural.

try to make the head smaller, to let him look bigger... mage the tail longer to balance his head... make the legs stronger to show that he can run, give him shorter arms to show that he doesn't need his arms to kill... don't give him to many horns, he is the Danger, he doesn't need and defence for his neck
![]() oh and a refernce for biped dinosaur muscles ![]() ![]()

@ryvick: you don't need to change your shape, thats just what came into my mind... try to think like nature when designing a creature... an attacker doesn't need that much armor or defense stuff (horns on his head, covering the neck) but he needs strong legs to run... etc
![]() @bradjames: well working as a lead 3d artist on a game with over 60 dinosaurs made me buy a lot of dinosaur books, this one is scanned from the artbook to disneys dinosaurs

yeah i know what u mean, the thing is i started with the head from a picture that i saw and then after i made the head i wanted to make the body too but the body in that picture was not good, so i looked around to find a better body and when the two compiled it came out like this.
once i get home i will work on that i guess and i will also post the pictures that i used for references i was very happy with the way the head came out in reference to the similarity of the picture. ![]() |

ok so here i changed it to the way u said it should look like Neox
i admit the head is still not as small as ur ref pic and the horns are there but i wanted it to leave it like that, this is supposed to be a fictional beast more horns shows more raw power ![]() |
