detailing pics arent working for me. But since you decided to post on my thread I thought I would see what you were up to and help out. I think it is nice so far. Hood is looking good. Roughly how long did it take you to do those. I tried a spline tutorial and it didnt work out for me, so I'm a meshy kinda guy lol. Keep up the good work

Thanx for the comments...
i know its real early stage of modeling the car...
but just wanted to know how it is turning out.

i did the splines in about 1 hour or something....
and then arranged the vertices according to the blueprints...
added & removed the un/wanted edges.

that was day 1 and went to bed

and then the next day the hood. (some 30 mins there).

i am too damn slow with cars

anyways Fluous, i know splines are a bit confusing in the beginiing... but i really like working with them to create a rough shape.
plus you can start testing it out... and if you need any sorta help..
i'd love to help

Hey Raven, how you doing?
your the one doing Audi TT. isnt it?

well...i am watching ur progress and would say your doing a great job, plus cant wait to see it done.

ok. i created half of the car, as you can see...
mirrored it on X-axis.... then selected all the middle vertices.
non-uniform scaled it down to 1. along x-axis...

and then WELD - "TAAADA".

hehehe, i hope you understand that... if you need any
graphy representation - lemme know!
