Dare To Be Digital

Thought I'd mention this competition that has been running for a few years in Scotland.

It's called "Dare to be Digital".
It's open to all under/post graduate students from all universities and art colleges here.
6 teams of 5 students each are choosen to develope a prototype digital product (comp game, animation etc etc) for 10 weeks during the summer. There are industry specialists who assist the teams in developing their projects during this time as well. At the end of the 10 weeks theres prizes for Innovation, Commercial Potential, and Endeavour.
The competition takes place in the University of Abertay (Dundee) in the Computer Games Technology labs. And of course, Dundee is the home of Lemmings, GTA, and Dennis the Menace n Desperate Dan

and there is also a competition held in Ireland at:
