First post - Dawn scene
Hello all,
Tthis is my first post and the first time I have shown anything to other people, so any thoughts would be appreciated, the render here is a photoshopped version of the original which did not have the "sunrise". I never actually planned it that way, it just sort of happened. I think maybe it is a bit much but tell me what you reckon. (about 3 - 4 hours work, mainly edited primitives, 90% procedural maps with the mix maps done in photoshop.) Dave. |

Original image
This is the original image render with no post on it, as you can see I have used only grey scale colour in the procedurals and red on the post at the end of wharf. I will definately go back and change the mix maps, however i did want it to be black and white except for that one bit of colour. One other version had a slight volumetric effect around the post which did draw the eye to it a bit more, but I decided that it was a bit reduntant having the only colour in the scene.
