i used a halfling low poly model as a base n turned it into a poly monster to test the normal mapping thing.
I was wondering if this is a wrong workflow coz the low poly model turned out to be a poor base for this thing because of lacking (correct)edge loops and having triangles all over the place :/ (the lowpoly halfling model may or may not be classified because of being a part of an aether chronicles mmorpg that may be or may not be released)

Just one little detail.....
And one mo thing - is that supposed to be the body back there...?? It looks like the head is sitting on a stand of some kind - or an old guy with the body of a 6 month old - the shoulders go down too fast. U r probably not thinking about the body right now, but I would suggest u remove or model it. It's distorting the good wrinkles coz its too smooth. Request - can we get a 25 % or 75% view... |
