Ferrari Aurea

Yeah yeah...its anotha car but I dont think this one has been done before besides the people whoe desgined it made a 3d version of it. So this is the concept ferrari Aurea. Id say theres about 6-8 hours of work into. Wasnt keeping track. some days I would work 5 minutes here and there on it then other days 2 to 3 hours straight....C&C welcome. If you have any questions ask. Oh by the way this techniqually is my first car but it isnt. Ive worked on tuts and stuff this one is tut free.

well here it is.

EDIT: Oh yeah...Im using 3dsmax6 and poly extrusion to model it.

Yup. Ill show a refernce pic right now...keep in mind its not the actual car since I guess it hasnt been made yet..lol... but heres a little view of it

Next post will be the doors being somewhat grooved and cut into the shape you see here. Heres a side view of the car.

No replys after 45 views?*starts to cry* well I have an update anyways so

. Ive got the groove in the side done now. There are still alot of things that need to be done to that part of the side but Ill leave it as is right now...so heres a screeny and yes I know about the bumps over the tire wells, Verts accidently got moved while I was organizing another part of the body.

C&C welcomed.

the actual car wont be made since the aurea is a study project of some people, also, i dont find the car to be much ferrari like, other than the front,

but ehm, your start looks nice, keep goin

Thnx sabaman for clearing that up..I didnt know for sure if it was actually gonna be made or not. The next update will be the the front end bumps above the front wells being smoothed out and the front grill being made. It will be awhile for the next update so hang tight.

nice work so far bullethead.
i hope you dont some crit.
i see bumps all along the indented section on the side of the car.
i believe you may now have straightend them out.
the chamfer on it looks to sharp also.
the rest of the car looks fine for the stage it is at. may we see a shaded wire viewport screenshot.
im interested to see what it looks like.
the car is very nice .

working on fixing the bumps a little and cleaning up my edges near the front wheel well, then Ill get a shaded wire up.

well you asked for a mesh so I bring the mesh attack to you. Run away from its scaryness. It will come for you...oh yes it wwwiiilll...lol..jk...it is pretty nasty though

Ok. I was talking to TMNI and he suggested I just redo the whole front end. So I was like really..and he was like. Yeah. So I did

Whole new front end. I got a wireframe first and a nice render. no more bumps...YAY
