Mech arm

Well... Its my first real project.. and I only just started... It would be really nice with some good feedback so that i can really learn to understand max and all it's components!

Well.. Here's a quick sketch of the side prespective (Thats only a quick one The finished result will be much more detailed)

Remember this is only the "bones" in the arm!

It's hard to comment on a few cylinders. You may be new, but you need to get it further along to get feedback.
As far as the shoulder, have you done any research, because there is tons of reference out there.

It's looking like something now, but you have to work more on the overall shape, I don't know exactly what you are trying to do. If it is only an arm or the whole thing.

Put some more details, maybe add a shoulder, a hand , things like wires, work those cilynder more, giving them shape, so nobady can call them cylinder (right now theyu look like that). Try twiking vertices, extruding, polygons on them.
