Pontiac Shark (CAR)
Hi All
after my BMW N3 - http://www.the123d.com/galleries/sce...magebig002.jpg (don't comment it here, please) more than a half year is passed and now i'm back in 3D waters with my new car with a codename "shark" It's 4 an internal 3D competition with my ex-, but best-roomate el_crni... He posted his car here, so I'm posting my progress also (due some test I had recently he is more ahead...) Yeah, I know, the car looks ugly so far... BUT, I promise, it'll look better |

zdravo, kakousi? :P
sorry bout that, the model: can't really say it's clean, not a car expert though, liek the update, my advice is, don't rush it, work like a perfectionist, not sure if that's how you model a car but instead of putting in all the details make the shape round and nice, without any bad meshes...well, keep it up, as you say it's very early, check back later, peace |

That't the way I model... it'll look smooth at the end (see the bmw- upper link)
It's a redesign of a pontiac firebird... at least that was a starting point, but also, I didn't say It'll look like it at the end |

hmm...
this car looks promising.....i wud suggest applying a good shader to it or rendering it with light tracer....totally white material....that makes everything look good!

Maybe the reason it doesn't look very smooth is because of the JPG compression. Try easing up on that a bit.
![]() If you look carefully, it's actually pretty smooth. I can't wait to see how the hood fits in ![]() |

Before I start answering questions, I have to thank you 4 support!
claWda, I'm not annoyed, I appreciate your comment! I just like to do everything just a bit, then I move on and return some time after. Even thouugh fron is not yet finished, I'm fixing the back of the car... this is rendered with light tracer with only 80rays and jpeg 60% compression... just a test rendering... materials comes at the end I'll do the final rendering with Brazil, but I still need a lot to do before that... (besides making it smoother ... so be patienthood... there is no hood The glass starts from the nose... something like on the BMW (on BMW the car shader is just a default brazil's gray car paint with HDRI light source)Thanks again |
